HB 201 ARMSTEAD 8-19 #2 

    Delegates Armstead, Kump, Carmichael, Lane, Sigler and Walters move to amend the amendment on page four, section two, line fifteen, by after the period by inserting the following:

    "For election purposes, in every district having two or more delegates, there shall be numbered divisions corresponding to the number of delegates in each district, which shall encompass the entire geographic area of the district. Each delegate shall be elected to represent the entire district. In each numbered division of the district, the candidates for nomination or election shall be voted upon and the votes cast for the candidates in each division shall be tallied separately from the votes cast for candidates in other numbered divisions within the district.  The candidate receiving the highest number of the votes cast within a numbered division shall be nominated or elected, as the case may be.”
